Timber Frame Conversion - Fortson, GA

I wanted to share this fascinating transformation with you.  Please excuse my amateur "movie" making abilities :)

The purpose of this clip is to show the before and after of this 1830's timber frame that was re-erected in Georgia.  It is now a gorgeous lake home!
This is one of our first timber frame conversions we did in 2009.  When the owner sent us photos of the finished project, I was blown away at the similarities between the original photos and his photos.  I alternated between the original pics and the new ones.  It is truly amazing how the integrity of the structure was preserved so accurately!  Enjoy :)

We have Timber frames available now! You can easily build a "green" house using a reclaimed timber framed post-and-beam barn, and do it for less money than you would pay for "new" construction. Not only are the materials time-strengthened, but the exposed beams display the character and history of its original era. Steve is always in the mood to talk about wood!  Give him a shout 855-676-4220
